Laura Penn

Laura Penn began her broadcasting career in the 1980s as the first female presenter on Radio City in Liverpool.

 

She moved into television as the producer/presenter of the live ITV service ‘Late Night Late’ and was nominated for the RTS Newcomer of the Year Award.

 

For five years she co-hosted the successful Century Radio breakfast show in Manchester with Andy Crane before moving to Spain where she created and managed the first English radio station on Mallorca.

 

Returning to the UK she specialised in travel joournalism and television and started production company Really Amazing Media.

 

Laura joined the staff of Made in Liverpool in 2017 and produced “The Lowdown” magazine show, increasing audience share by more than fifty percent.

 

She is now freelancing and alongside her commitment to Next Chapter Media has worked on the series of ‘Love Island Australia’ for Channel Nine and ITV.

 

On a personal note Laura has written two books about angels and hass an abiding interest in dogs and motors.
