Bryan Burgess

Bryan is a marketing expert, with broad experience in broadcasting, print and sports franchises operating at senior management levels.


He played a major role in establishing TV AM, an acclaimed and profitable broadcast television station, with responsibility for operating a string of regional offices.


Bryan was part of an exec team that turned Liverpool’s Radio City into a success, before being poached to run Red Rose Radio in Lancashire, as managing director/general manager.  


During this period he also worked for a company heavily involved with the post production work for the classic TV dramas Brideshead Revisted and Jewel in the Crown.  He clinched a high-profile a deal, with the European Space Agency, to produce a TV documentary on the Giotto Space Satellites, which aired on Channel 4.


Bryan started his career at IPC Women’s magazines, moving on to the Daily Telegraph, and then taking on the challenge of helping launch SKY TV.


After a successful 10 years at SKY TV, running the commercial arm of its regional business, he joined Manchester United TV as Commercial Director.


Bryan recently deployed his business skills to make a successful bid for the local TV licence in Manchester along with providing profession support on the development of Bay TV Liverpool.  


A real professional with old school standards and a love for developing a business, Bryan takes the lead on initial consultation with a range of clients for NCM.


He is an ex-chairman of The Manchester Publicity Association and formerly chaired of The Northwest Marketing Society.  He has also been involved with the charity “1001 Inventions”
